The Kane Group moved into demolition in 1985 with further expansion following the acquisition of G J Gaywood Ltd in 2001. We subsequently undertook a major investment programme resulting in the complete replacement of the plant and vehicle fleet. We also revised all operational and HSE procedures resulting in successful projects for a number of major clients including HBG, Simons Construction and Shanks Waste.

The Kane Group operate a range of excavators, including “long reach” Liebherr 954’s all with quick-release couplings for demolition grabs, pulverisers, concrete and steel shears, and silenced boom-mounted breakers.

Our demolition service is available for stand-alone projects or as part of an integrated package for brownfield based commencement for any new build. 

Together with demolition itself, we offer total site remediation with expertise in asbestos removal, disposal of hazardous waste and contaminated soil disposal.
